Your own link page in minutes
From signing up to the link in your Instagram bio – every step simply explained.
- 1
Step 1
Create an account
Click “Sign in” at the top, then “Create account”. All you need is your email address and a password – Free is free forever, no credit card required.
- Enter your email address and a password
- Open the confirmation email and tap the link (check your spam folder too)
- You’re now signed in and land in the editor
Tip: On the home page you can claim your address up front – it’ll already be filled in in the editor.
- 2
Step 2
Choose a template
At the very top of the editor you’ll find the templates. One click applies colours, fonts, buttons and, if you like, matching photos. Afterwards you can adjust everything freely.
- Pick a category: colours & gradients, urbex, cafés & restaurants, animals & nature, beauty & cosmetics, music & DJs
- Turn off “Use the template’s photos” if you only want colours and fonts
- “Undo” takes you back to your previous design at any time
Tip: Templates with a “Plus” label are available from the Plus plan.
- 3
Step 3
Design your profile
Under “Edit profile” you decide what the top of your page looks like.
- Upload a cover image and adjust crop, height and fade
- Upload a profile picture, position it in the circle and choose a border
- Enter your profile name and description – or, from Plus, a logo instead of the name
Tip: Landscape photos work best as cover images.
- 4
Step 4
Add links
Under “Manage links” you add everything your visitors should find: social profiles, shop, website, music, dates or contact.
- Tap “Add link”, enter a title and the address
- Pick a matching icon – over 150 brand and line icons
- Change the order with the arrows, delete links you no longer need
Tip: A short subtitle like “New prints” or “Book now” makes buttons much more clickable.
- 5
Step 5
Fine-tune the design
Under “Customise design” you give your page the finishing touches.
- Buttons: colours, shape, height, border, icons and photos
- Fonts for name, description and footer
- Background: colour or gradient – from Plus also a photo
- From Plus: the AI designer makes suggestions based on your description
Tip: You see every change instantly in the live preview.
- 6
Step 6
Choose your address & publish
At the top of the editor you choose your address myinsta.at/yourname. The field shows right away whether it’s still available. One click on “Publish” – and your page is live.
- Allowed: lowercase letters, numbers, dot, hyphen and underscore
- “View page” opens your finished link page
- Later, simply apply changes with “Save”
Tip: Short and easy to remember is best – ideally the same name as on Instagram.
- 7
Step 7
Add the link to your bio
Only the most important step is left: add your address myinsta.at/yourname to your profile.
Instagram
- 1Tap your profile picture at the bottom right
- 2Tap “Edit profile”
- 3“Links” → “Add external link”
- 4Enter myinsta.at/yourname as the URL, optionally a title like “All links”
- 5Tap “Done” at the top right
TikTok
- 1Tap “Profile” at the bottom right
- 2Tap “Edit profile”
- 3Enter myinsta.at/yourname in the “Website” field
- 4Save
TikTok doesn’t unlock the website field for every account – depending on the account, e.g. only from a certain number of followers or with a business account.
Facebook, YouTube & co.
- 1Open edit profile or edit channel
- 2Look for “Links”, “Website” or “Contact info”
- 3Enter myinsta.at/yourname and save
Tip: App menus change from time to time – the wording may differ slightly.
- 8
Step 8
Edit later
You can change your link page at any time. The link in your bio always stays the same.
- Sign in, “To the editor” – your page loads automatically
- Change and “Save” – the update is live immediately
- From Plus: several link pages via the selector at the top of the editor
- Plan, invoices and cancellation are under “My account”
Tip: You can sign out at the top right via “Sign out”.
